TDS3000 For hand held explosives detection
|
Operating the TDS3000: The TDS3000 is flexible and easy to operate, offering both vapour and particulate sampling without the use of a radioactive source or external carrier gas. Vapours are sampled directly via the sampling nozzle. Particulates are sampled by swiping a suspected object with cotton gloves and then transferring the traces to a screen which is inserted into the sampling port. This dual capability enables users toselect the most suitable method of sampling for the explosives of interest. The TDS3000 startsprocessing samples immediately and gives results in just seconds. All results are indicated on the LCD and by a |

| volume adjustable audio alarm, making detection a simple one-step process. For a vapour only version of the EVD3500, ask for information on the EVD 2500, also good value. The TDS3000 is the world’s first and most recognised portable explosives trace detector withcomprehensive explosives detection capabilities. Ready to operate in only 60 seconds, and providing a response in 15 seconds, the TDS3000 is the only hand held device capable of detecting the presence of plastic and high-vapour pressure explosives, including taggants. If portability, quick detection and clear results are crucial, then this is the explosive detector needed. The TDS3000 detects traces of both particulates and vapours, allowing for non-invasive searches of luggage, mail, vehicles, documents and containers. Portable: The TDS3000 is self contained, rugged, and light weight (less than 3.0 kg) and comes in a fully equipped, rugged carrying case– ready to use when and where you need it. Easy to Use: Within one minute of power-up, the unit is ready for use. The simple push of a button automatically activates the sampling and analysis mode. Results are displayed on an easy to read LCD making the TDS3000 ideal for all non-technical personnel. Better Value: Less costly to budget and operate. No internal consumables, and no radiation calibrations, licenses or certificates to struggle with. Proven: The TDS3000 has proven to be capable of detecting plastic and high vapour pressure explosives– giving clear results you can trust. Sensitive and Selective: The TDS3000 can detect even minute vapour traces of C-4, TNT, Dynamite, PETN, Semtex, EGDN, DMNB, RDX, and Nitro-glycerine including ICAO taggants and tagged plastic explosives. |
